"Practical C++ Programming", by Oualine, published by O'Reilly. One of the 'animal' books (with a squirrel on the cover to be precise...). ~ $35. Nice because it is not 'tied' to any particular 'environment' as many other books are. G. Can any one recommend a good book on C++.
