Due to the new vulnerabilities in Apache and SSH I endeavered to do upgrades on My systems (as I have done many times before) logged in as root through ssh to a Redhat 7.2 server, did the upgrades, no problem. Have done this many times before. Then I log into a Redhat 7.1 system which I administer to do the same thing. Here is what I get. [root@server secuprpm]# rpm -Fvh apache* error: failed dependencies: mod_bandwidth is needed by apache-1.3.22-5.7.1 mod_put is needed by apache-1.3.22-5.7.1 mod_throttle is needed by apache-1.3.22-5.7.1 libmm.so.11 is needed by apache-1.3.22-5.7.1 apache = 1.3.19-5 is needed by mod_ssl-2.8.1-5 [root@server secuprpm]# rpm -Fvh openssh* error: failed dependencies: libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.2.4) is needed by openssh-server-3.1p1-5 [root@server secuprpm]# [root@server secuprpm]# rpm -Fvh uucp* [root@server secuprpm]# rpm -Fvh ucd* error: failed dependencies: librpm-4.0.4.so is needed by ucd-snmp-4.2.5-7.71.0 librpmdb-4.0.4.so is needed by ucd-snmp-4.2.5-7.71.0 librpmio-4.0.4.so is needed by ucd-snmp-4.2.5-7.71.0 librpm-4.0.4.so is needed by ucd-snmp-utils-4.2.5-7.71.0 librpmdb-4.0.4.so is needed by ucd-snmp-utils-4.2.5-7.71.0 librpmio-4.0.4.so is needed by ucd-snmp-utils-4.2.5-7.71.0 This is a pretty standard 7.1 install, not the first I have worked with, not the first I have upgraded. Anyone know what gives?
