Hi all, I had a drive that I was using on an add-on promise ultra 100 card. I updated my motherboard and now I want to scrap that board and boot from the drive mounted as hda on the motherboard controller (it had been hdf on the promise) I booted using the SUSE boot disk into rescue. I mounted the drive's root under /mnt. I edited the fstab values to change HDF's to HDA's. Then I attempted to run lilo. I had to specify a -r option because I was operating under /mnt. The error I get is the it "Does not know how to handle device 0x0102" I can manually mount the partitions on this drive. How can I now get it to boot? Make a boot disk? I have a boot CD and floppy I made for the HDFx configuration but obviously that does not work here.
