-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I'm having a problem with Apache in Debian unstable (seems to also be happening if I change my sources.list to testing). I did an apt-get upgrade, and got apache-1.3.26-1. And now it won't start ... root@mail:/lib# /etc/init.d/apache start Starting web server: apache/usr/sbin/apache: error while loading shared libraries: libdb.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory failed True, I have no libdb.so.2. This is provided (or so the debian web page package lister says) by lib/libdb.so.2 base/libc6 (also in a debug version, which I also have) Which I do have installed, obviously. :-) root@mail:/var/cache/apt/archives# dpkg -l libc6 ======================================= ii libc6 2.2.5-13 So I don't know where the problem lies. Any one else having problems? Or maybe has a copy of libdb.so.2 you could send me - I'll see if my apache will then start? -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGP 7.0.4 -- QDPGP 2.68 Comment: http://community.wow.net/grt/qdpgp.html iQA/AwUBPVkQ35q0HvZapbzfEQInbwCdF0C4sm8LZsWtwHu66KZ6mTUi6CoAoIOT 8nEG2jFLvGd0jwN98Ok/qL0/ =Dte/ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug
