>From the IBM DeveloperWorks newsletter today-- ::: Linux Scholar Challenge 2002 ::: IBM will sponsor a Linux Scholar Challenge for university students worldwide -- to encourage students to get involved in the open source community, to develop an application or make an improvement to Linux, and to get real-world experience with this fast-growing operating environment. Prizes will be awarded to the top 20 entries, judged by IBM Linux personnel. These 20 students will receive an IBM ThinkPad with Linux, and will also have the opportunity to qualify for one of three summer 2003 internships at our Linux Technology Center. There will also be a university award given to the university who has the highest overall average from their students' entries. http://www.ibm.com/university/linuxchallenge?n-l-8152 -- "Acting is an art which consists of keeping the audience from coughing." _________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug
