Grrr. Once again RH does stuff that's non-standard. Xwrapper was a XFree86 3.3.x security feature. RH has extended it (and it sounds like modified it), shipping it with 4.x versions. XFree86 does _not_ include this with 4.x. Maybe you want to try modifying the startx script?
