Re: [PLUG] OT: Mouse Protocols

I've had a problem trying to convince a serial trackball to work on a ps-2
port. The software seemed to believe that it was doable and I needed
serial one for another application.
Windows 98 is also not a perfect panacrea for USB problems either.
Granting that it and USB were supposedly made for each other and it
usually behaves. Usually does not mean always. I've had to reinstall USB
applications that registry "forgot" about on Win98 machines.
