[PLUG] State Job Opportunity


In the next several months two civilian positions will become available in
the Computer Crime Unit.  One position is in Erie and the other in West
Chester.  The West Chester position will eventually be moved to the soon
to be constructed Embreevile Barracks, which will be 20 min. west of West
Chester.

Prerequisites include:  Through knowledge of TCP/IP, networking
principals, Windows OS's, Linux, and hardware troubleshooting.

Brief Job Description:  You would be assisting a State Trooper in computer
crime investigations.  This would include forensics, on-line
investigations, and the participation in the service of search warrants. 
Basically you would be doing everything the Trooper does with the
exception of making arrests.  You would also become a member of a Computer
Crime Task Force that is responsible for handling large scale incidents in
the area of responsibility.  This position would require occasional travel
in and out of the state.  Additional training will be provided.
