The LISA conference, sponsered by the USENIX Organization (<http://www.usenix.org>) is an annual event, focusing on System Administration. This year, it is being held in Phiuladelphia, at the Convention Center. There will also be a GPG/PGP keysigning held there this year. Come and have your key cross-signed by your fellow Linux/Unix administrators, and expand the web of trust. The following is a short note from Martin Krafft, a former member of PLUG, who is helping to organize the keysigning this year, along with condensed posts from other PLUG members. > I am organizing a big keysigning session on Wednesday, Nov 6, 8-9pm. > See http://www.usenix.org/events/lisa02/bofs.html. > > > Will you need anything from us ahead of time, such as copies of our > public keys? > > You guys should print several stubs with the output of > > gpg --list-key --fingerprint <key id> > > and bring them along with a valid identification. drivers license is > okay, a passport would be preferable. For anyone using Debian, there's a module called "signing-party" ("apt-get install signing-party") which includes a useful little program called "gpg-key2ps". gpg-key2ps creates a postscript file with as many copies of your GPG fingerprint as will fit on a page. You can then cut them up and distribute them at the keysigning party. -- PGP Fingerprint: 0AA8 DC47 CB63 AE3F C739 6BF9 9AB4 1EF6 5AA5 BCDF Member, LEAF Project <http://leaf.sourceforge.net> AIM: MikeLeone Public Key - <http://www.mike-leone.com/~turgon/turgon-public-key.asc> Registered Linux user# 201348 Attachment:
