It's called convert.exe and it ONLY does FAT* to NTFS. I usually delete anything unneccesary, fire up PM, shrink the NTFS as much as possible, create a FAT or EXT* target partition, and shuffle/resize my way over. Very tedious. Good luck.

I witnessed a tool that would FAT[32] > NTFS in place back in 98
or so for NT3.51. I think it was part of the OS tools (helping
users migrate into NTFS, but not out.)


Partition magic Pro's advertising says it does NTFS > FAT32.
Since it does support ext2, perhaps a full list of its
capabilities would include this?
