I'm using the Mozilla 1.1 e-mail client. Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020826 And, yes, it is messing up that line. It's making the entire line a link. I'm glad it isn't a real e-mail address!

I think your email client is confusing matters. In plain text, those two lines appear identical. Presumably your client is automatically making the whole line into a link, but it wasn't _sent_ that way.
