Funny you should mention it, I was in Barnes & Noble yesterday.  There
was a Linux magazine there -- don't recall the name; was about $15.
wrapped in plastic with a DVD -- that had a partition you could burn
onto a CD that was a bootable Linux OS.  I suppose you could just add
Samba -- if it wasn't already on the CD.
