I have two UPS'es (uninterruptible power supplies). They are 420 and 450 VA respectively. Remembering freshman calculus and root mean squares, this means they are rated 300 and 320 W respectively. Empirically, a 300 W power supply on these guys isn't a good idea. I also have a 300 W power supply for 220 V only. It works just fine, I'm just living in the U.S. now. All free to a good home, I'll bring them with me tomorrow if I hear from someone before before 5 p.m. or so tomorrow. (I will be late to the meeting, so plan to catch me afterwards before we go for food.) -- Jeff Jeff Abrahamson <http://www.purple.com/jeff/> GPG fingerprint: 1A1A BA95 D082 A558 A276 63C6 16BF 8C4C 0D1D AE4B Attachment:
