[PLUG] Odd trouble with samba

Hello all-

just wanted to get some other ideas on this one.

I have samba set up and running (2.2.7).

When I (and also other people) try to copy certain files to the machine from
a Win2K desktop, I get an error message saying that the share can no longer
be found.

Just for kicks, I set myself to connect as admin, but, no change. I also
ftped the file over, copied it back to my machine through samba, but, this
didn't change anything.

I have been seeing this happen a bit too often recently (sometimes it would
happen, then, just closing the connection and starting it up again would fix
the problem). It happened with a couple .exe files a few days ago, and now
with some .jpg's from my digital camera.

the files copy fine to a Win2K server.

Anyone have any idea where to start?

thanks
-b
