The big rub seems to be on "stacking" with a CDRW. You can do multisession, but that seems to cause amusing problems near the end of the disk. I picked up a CDRW this morning to play with some ideas... The goal being to see if I can at least perform a full multicd backup first... Then move on to differential backups. Someone also talked about BRU... I think I have a demo of it that came with SuSE so Ill try that too. Ill post my results I guess. - -ian reinhart geiser - -- - --:Ian Reinhart Geiser <geiseri@yahoo.com> - --:Public Key: http://geiseri.myip.org:8080/publickey.txt - --:Jabber: geiseri@geiseri.myip.org -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+U6jfPy62TRm8dvgRAmzsAKC+f3zgtvt75SfXOVN59FYyXvJKbACdHKWh pdkYY6lzc5z//ZLMRiFJasg= =j5hH -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug
