Is there a reason you need it to show up? I have 3 PC's behind a Linksys. 

Redhat 8.0	Static IP
Win 2k		DHCP
Win XP		DHCP

Only the XP box displays it's machine name in the DHCP table. I don't 
have any issues connecting from one machine to another, although that 
may be because I use Samba as a Primary Domain Controller.
