This was posted to pgp-users and gnupg-users mailinglists. I think it was John who, at the last PLUG meeting, brought up the topic of Meetups. As I recall, an issue was brought up about the lack of coordination. I think it was a Perl meeting where two groups where at the same location and didn't know about each other, right? Looking at the Meetups info it would seem that they were missing a host.
