If we have keys to sign, yes.

Yes, I think the consensus (among me and Gabriel, at least ;-) was to
try it.

One advantage is that a key signing can happen among those who are
prepared without need for central coordination. I've taken to carrying
a signed key strip in my wallet so I can be prepared just in case.
