[PLUG] gentoo on PPC

I have installed Gentoo linux on my Mac G4. I configured yaboot by hand and I can boot os 9 or os x. Unfortunately, my linux partition will not boot. I am using two hard drives and my linux partition is on the second hard drive (/dev/hdb11.) Does anyone have any experience with this? Any suggestions? I suspect that I do not have yaboot properly configured.
