[PLUG] Mac and VNC or something else

Another question that I was asked about the Mac (I'm really only a 
LINUX/windows user) is how we can run an app on the Mac and display it 
on a PC.  My first thought was that that is how the X-Window system 
works, but we're running Mac OS.  Second thought: VNC.  I've read that 
it works.  Has anyone used a VNC server on a Mac?  Is there something 
better to use?  Should we even bother projecting a highly graphical app?
