Other than the fact that you can't "copy" it...

Basically, the CD itself can't be copied using standard Mac OS "copy" 
techniques (drag and drop).

It's the old story... you can copy all of the data with no problems, 
but if you want to make the CD bootable, you have to write the 
bootstrap information to the CD independent of the copy.

I don't know if Mike Bombitch has the instructions on his website or 
not. He does have the instructions for creating bootable CDs for OS X.

I believe the Disk Utility program under OS X can do this, but I know 
that none of the standard OS 9 utilities will work. The Disk Utility 
program in OS 9 is broken. It has a size limit that prevents it from 
being used for anything useful.
