That stuff I got, its the mechanics of

# ln -s /etc/init.d/openlid.sh /etc/rc6.d/S01openlid.sh

that impress me, I know it has something to do with kernel ring(?) run
levels, but I have a lot of more basic stuff to learn before delving deeper
there; the power one has with *nix is impressive though. I had entered the
code you posted via ssh, but am waiting until Tues to bounce the box as I
want to be able to 'lift the lid.'
