-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 This is a heads up to everyone in the thread a while back regarding WiFi networks. The topic of the September issue of Linux Journal is Community Networks. The articles I found interesting were sidebar (page 44) "Peeble Linux: Debian for WiFi Access Points", sidebar (page48) "Boom box: The guts behind the Glory" about the creation of a 'community' AP + jukebox, and (page 52) "Linux-Powered Wireless Hotspots" which covers setting up a wireless gateway including the use of NoCatAuth. Overall, I'd say the pieces are a good read about what is being done in this area. Pick it up when it hits the news stands. - -- Creating solutions to any problem. http://www.biglumber.com/ http://openpgp.meetup.com/ http://thawte.meetup.com/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2-nr2 (Windows XP) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQE/OAKC6QPtAqft/S8RAvWUAKD3RJwTSyMTDwdSeVx17LGm8sJI/QCg1gjA tKqhIO74n9lBR/g1johzGcg= =8XRh -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug
