If so, try to > get the sarge perl installed. dpkg -i *does* work; I was wrong about that. i downloaded the perl debs from testing (perl, perl-modules, libdb4,libgdb (sp?)) and was able to install them. No good. "apt-get -f install" still fails. Running "perl -v" gives me line 1: syntax error near unexpected token ')' line 1: elerator_text))) Anything else I cantry? If I can't fix it real soon, I'll just have to start all over again; i don't have the time to trouble-shoot in the dark, unfortunately. _________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug
