integrity. It goes well beyond simple fail over and high availability features
by providing single system management features previously only available on
expensive VMS or UNIX based implementations.
Why is this
important?
Polyserve will enable a firm to
implement enterprise applications such as Oracle 9i, SQL, DB2 database apps on
smaller Intel based servers with lower cost and better performance. It is
especially useful in blade deployments, simplifying management and enabling
multiple systems to operate as a single large system
