I had a major (unexpected) change in jobs, and an (expected) change in 
family size which have both taken up a fair bit of my time.  I did 
spend quite a bit of time on the Dell TrueMobile 1184 and feel that it 
is probably not the right hardware to base this project on.  In order 
to stop wasting time with embedded systems, I figured it would be 
faster to get things going with old PC's.  I've got a few old Pentiums 
for this purpose and need to buy some wireless cards for them (after 
Christmas of course).
