hi

i'm traying to share files between linux and xp at my home network. but it doesnt work. i can see my samba server but can't gain any access to any shared files. although i did convert linux users to samba uses and i'm logging in from windows with the same user name and password that i use in linux. here goes my smb.conf file:

can u see what goes wrong?

By default, home directories are browsable by each their respective users. Make sure you connect to the share using the username and *Samba* passwd that you created with smbpasswd. Also, make sure you don't have a firewall getting in the way.
