[PLUG] Speaking of Win98 -- Samba question

I have never been able to get samba to work, and thought I'd give it 
another try.  I can ping the Linux machine from windows and vice versa, 
but can't get samba to work.  There are no NT, 2000 or XP machines, just 
a win98 and a win95.  Does samba require at least one "NT" machine?
