Hi, I have a better idea of what we're looking for. We have an application that is going to to use IP multicasting to update several devices on a private LAN. We need to test doing this using IP tunnelling through a pair of routers. The people involved in this project are looking for a "Cisco" router specialist to tell them what a "typical router setup" is (i.e. at the customer site you've never seen) They would then like to know what hardware to buy and how to set the h/w up to test their app. This is strictly a consulting job of a weeks(?) duration. My boss is checking with Cisco to find a local consultant. I'll give him the information from the people that have already responded, but if any one else is interested feel free to email me at work (tom [dot] hornberger [at] checkpt [dot] com).
