Well, I'd have enjoyed doing it but the cost argument for long distance calls won out, so I introduced a few people to Mozilla's standards-tolerable editor, made a few templates, and things are at least functional. Perhaps another time, assuming I decide to move toward administration? Your friends are quite safe, btw - We're a legislative group that works with recognized Native American Tribes, the only people getting faxes are those that paid their $2-4k and insisted that they can't possibly get their news updates by email. No unsolicited anything going out except to elected representatives. I missed entirely the comment about the space bar? I'm proof-reading, still don't see the problem. Sorry for the odd quotes, I'm getting everything via digest. ~Pablo -- Quoted -- Date: Wed, 11 Feb 2004 10:43:48 -0500 (EST) From: Magnus Hedemark <chrish@trilug.org> To: plug@lists.phillylinux.org Subject: Re: [PLUG] Fax, email broadcast system? I hope you realize given the implications of the combination you're asking about, you might be met with a lot of resistance unless you can show that you're not doing this for direct marketing or other scummy purposes. Yes, I've done a lot of this sort of thing. But I tend to screen who I want to help with it so it doesn't get used for sh*tbombing my friends. -- / Quoted -- ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
