Going farther how might I insert from the script timed pauses between commands, like to wait five minute between the put and then next command. I used to use a very simple shell script executed by cron to download the latest virus scanner DAT file. I found the script in an old Red Hat 6 book. I don't have access to the script anymore, but I bet Google'ing will turn up plenty of options. (I believe the script I used was more simple than the one submitted by Eric.) ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
