[PLUG] Off topic - does anyone have a source for satellite boxes?

Sorry to bug the group with this one, but the need is great.

We've got Globecast satellite service, because my wife is non-american and wants to watch TV from all over the world. The converter box (Globecast DVB model DE997) is dead.

When the box originally went dark, I opened it up and found a blown fuse. Replaced it. Powered the box on again - there was an audible pop and a flash of light. Doesn't look like this box is ever coming back again.

Warrenty has expired - Globecast has lousy warranties, one year only, so don't use them if you don't have to. Globecast wants $165.00 USD for a new one.

Does anyone know of a source for used/discarded converter boxes like this one
