Has anyone tried extendPDF (http://www.jdisoftware.co.uk/pages/epdf-home.php)? It is an OpenOffice macro that claims to create interactive PDFs (navigational features, etc.) with OO. As nice as the GhostScript and other open source PDF makers are, they seem to be limited to create the plain ¨electronic paper¨ PDFs -- the open source equivalent of the Adobe PDFWriter. Until extendPDF, the PDF forms and other navigational features were only available with Mac and Windows via the Acrobat Distiller, the Acrobat Editor, or one of the very expensive third party products. In the Windows version of Acrobat, Adobe includes a PDFMaker macro for winword that translates Word bookmarks, fields and styles to PDF equivalents. Well, extendPDF is supposed to add the PDFMaker features to Open Office. Has anyone tried it? -- _______________________________________ Art Alexion Arthur S.
