In no particular order: Might try a net use from the W98 command line if it has switches to specify username and password. If you can do this just map some random drive to anything on the fileserver at Windows startup and once it has access to that share it will cooperate with what you actually want. Not sure if the W98 net use command does this though, net use /? will say. Try changing the password on the SAMBA side and hope that the W98 box then prompts you anew. Log off W98, not shut down or restart, then try again. Do a start / find computer, and enter the IP of the SAMBA. ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
