Sounds like she's a pretty run-of-the-mill left-wing
extremist nut and the guy who got the message is a
pretty run-of-the-mill right-wing extremist nut (who
might make claims about a certain terrorist wanting
you to vote for Kerry so he can "kill your family" --

I take issue with the content of the voice message,
but I also take issue with the reprisal. It would seem
like laptoplobbyist is trying pretty hard to justify
getting somebody fired. From the website:

"Please note: Ms. Buchman leaves a call back number
in the voicemail which went to her office at WHYY. We
have left the number intact to validate that she did,
indeed, place this call from work."

How does leaving a particular callback number in a
message "validate" anything.

BTW, remember that testicular cancer survivor from
Silicon Valley who got in trouble last year for
leaving threatening messages at the Canadian penis
enlargement company that kept sending him spam and
Windows popups? Spam can make you feel pretty
powerless and angry, especially when you feel strongly
about its content and are unable to make it stop, no
matter how hard you try.
