I hooked up an FM transmitter to my linux server...not the perfect fidelity but then i use it for playback of recorded talk shows. Very easy to carry around a portable radio anywhere in the house. It was like a $20 to $30 device that transmits to maybe 500 feet. It was just some FM transmitter board, "Cannakit" brand I think. epike On Tue, 2004-12-28 at 11:46, Jeff Abrahamson wrote: > The problem (1): I want to listen to music (available as mp3 and ogg > files) in my dining room. > > The problem (2): Although I have network ports in the living room / > dining room (and wireless), I don't have a computer there.
