[PLUG] fc3 and USB wireless

Does FC3 have better support for USB wireless?

I tried FC2 (without recompiling kernals), and when I pluged in the adapter (DWL-122)
  it didn't seem to recognize it (at least it didn't show up under network connections).

I will be upgrading my FC2 to FC3 this weekend.  

Is there an easy straightforward way to have USB wireless included during the 
upgrade?
