Where did you see 8260 code? I can't seem to locate anything on their
website about any of the II series CPUs :(

No, the website doesn't really mirror the dist as well as it would lead you to believe.

I downloaded their dist a couple of days ago, hoping to use the ColdFire 5275 USB as a reference, but there is no such beast. As for 8260, I just looked for file names:
uClinux-dist\linux-2.6.x\arch\ppc\8260_io
uClinux-dist\linux-2.6.x\arch\ppc\platforms\est8260.h
uClinux-dist\linux-2.6.x\arch\ppc\platforms\rpx8260.h
uClinux-dist\linux-2.6.x\arch\ppc\platforms\sbs8260.h
uClinux-dist\linux-2.6.x\arch\ppc\platforms\tqm8260.h
uClinux-dist\linux-2.6.x\arch\ppc\platforms\tqm8260_setup.c
There may be more. The platforms files provide board specific macros and contact info for people who might have a better read on I vs II....which really shouldn't be an issue should it? If the machine code hasn't changed, then I'd think the only thing you'd need to worry about would be the specifics of your board. Then again, they do love to change the peripherals all the time.
