ext3 file system. kernel 2.6.8.1-3-386 I've got errors on hda2, which used to hold another distro. I had deleted and then recreated the partition, and was using it to store music. fschk reports errors, and I have unmounted and run repeated checks with attempted repairs on it to no avail. It keeps mounting read only because of the errors. I suspect that the problem is an illegally long file name, but as read-only, I can't seem to rename it. Any suggestions? -- _______________________________________ Art Alexion Arthur S.
