[PLUG] serial connection and linux

Hi, I would like to connect to a sega dreamcast running linux using
the serial port. I am connecting from a sun blade 100 running gentoo.
I already have the necessary cable. I know you can do this with
Hyper Terminal in Windows. Does anyone know of a linux terminal
program I can use to do this?
