what does this have to do with using linux?  i'm imagining that this
would not even be an open-source program, probably not even ported to
linux at all.

so why are you bringing this up?

if you're going to do so in the future (which i would discourage at
all), please at least prefix your subject line with [OT] so people can
know to not read it unless it interests them.
