[PLUG] slackware ndiswrapper / wlan0

I have been fighting my slackware box recently, trying to get it to recognize my wireless card. It's an intel pro2200 B/G card, and ndiswrapper compiles fine. I can install the drivers, but I need to create a device wlan0... on other distros I have used it always created the device, or it was already there... ifconfig gives me my standard lo and eth0, and iwconfig detects "no wireless interfaces". The post about slackware uptime jogged my memory, and I know it would be helpful for me to post any ndiswrapper stuff from dmesg, etc but I am at work. IF anyone has any pointers that would be great, otherwise I'll have to post with more technical information this evening.
