We have some Sun boxes and we're getting rid of them like crazy. We have Solaris 10 on a couple for testing, and although they do behave a bit better than its predecessors, it's still a pain to compile linux apps. I haven't tried running an acual binary, but I'll give it a try and let you know. For the Medium model, which is the one I would look at I don't think it's worth the price. If you don't mind building it yourself, you can get the parts off pricewatch or newegg and it'll be around $800, if not even less. - -Cos - -- GPG key fingerprint = DE9F 4664 E666 2BD1 903E 4F4D EA31 5FB1 C7F9 08C1 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFDHadD6jFfscf5CMERAp7dAKDmToe19VvREMJ75a5IAeazBjipgwCeLZdq qDi7ph7hIp63FayS9uLDH1E= =k4O5 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
