I have had an IBM T-30,Disco mini PCI wireless card etc, etc, for 2 years
now(before it went Chinese). When I first got it I dual booted
it(XP-Suse9.1). I worked like a champ. I would recommend it. The only
issue I never had was with the ndis wrapper that ran the wireless was
incompatible with kismet. If I was more adept I could probably gotten
the Cisco drivers to work. I think they are in the kernal now. All in
all I dont believe the quality has gone down, and IBM`s name is still on
the line so they probably still are involved with the product
