Re: [PLUG] SUSE 10 Sound Problem...


I finally gave up on this and did it a different way. I guess not many
people have this config yet - SUSE 10 and HDTV and Audigy sound... as I
got little response here on either question. Also it seems others have
similiar problems in a google search but I see no real answers.

Anyway I tried everything to get these modules to load with no success, so
in /etc/sysconfig/kernel is a location where you can add modules to load
that are not detected. I added the two modules snd-card-0 and cx88-dvb and
it works. Perhaps not the best way but I really don't understand the
auto-detect mechanism well enough at this point.

I still did not get any response on my other 'GCC' question to PLUG. See
prior message.
