The Ubuntu philosophy is to provide the base distro on a single CD, and then to use apt or its GUI counterparts to install optional stuff. You can FTP the install iso, but the bitTorrent download is faster. Ubuntu has branched out. Ubuntu provides Gnome, Kubuntu provides KDE, edubuntu provides a setup for a school environment, and xubuntu provides Xfce. -- _______________________________________ Art Alexion Arthur S.
