I'm selling some old servers that I'd like to get rid of. I'll entertain any offer, but you must be able to pick them up at the PLUG meeting tomorrow. You must buy the servers whole, I won't part them out. The best two offers by 10pm get them, and you can take what you want from the additional box of hardware (the rest will go in the trash). Here's the list: Two servers, each with the following specs: P3-450 512MB RAM *six* 9GB SCSI Seagate drives floppy, SCSI cdrom, SCSI tape drive (don't know what kind it is) PCI RAID Controller Card SCSI controller for cdrom and tape two redundant PSUs in a hot swap box A giant, heavy case in pristine condition to hold all of this. A DIGI 50000342 multi-port serial card (no additional cables, sorry) The front panel doors for both servers are locked, but you can probably find another key, or just unscrew the entire front panel and remove the lock. You can also easily get into the servers from the side panel. There is also an additional box with nine SCSI hard drives (mostly 9GB Seagates), some NICs, and two SCSI controllers. The chip on one says "Symbios Logic 53C895". Both machines boot, and appear to have their drives wiped. One server complains of a failed drive, but there's a box with plenty of replacements. Both servers were kept in a data center, and have virtually no dust on them. Email me off-list with an offer if you're interested.
