Dear Philadelphian,

Two weeks ago we launched a contest to find the best Rick Santorum
impersonator in the city. There are just three weeks left before the
contest entry deadline, and we want to know, *have you considered
entering the contest yet? Team and individual entries are welcome.
*

You don't have to be a Santorum expert, know his mannerisms, or even
look like him to enter- all you have to do is want to boot Santorum out
of office. Check out our contest website to learn more:

We're calling the contest mockSantorum! and the winning mockSantorum!
will appear in a DVD we're premiering at house parties all across the
city in the summer.

To enter the contest, you don't have to be a professional actor or
comedian-- in fact you don't even have enter alone. Team entr ies to the
contest are welcome, and throwing a few mockBushes, mockCheyneys and
mockCondoleezas sure would be fun.

The mockSantorum! contest is a fun way and easy way to raise awareness
about Rick Santorum's impact on Philadelphia. In order to beat Santorum
in the fall, we need to get tens of thousands of voters out to the polls
that wouldn't otherwise turnout. Humor is a great way to reach people
who might not otherwise be interested in the Senate race.

All you have to do is come up with a performance piece, up to 2 minutes
long, which showcases the best Santorum mocking possible. Check out our
website for more details, ideas, and more:

Contest entries are due on May 31st, Finalists will be invited to a
public judging at the Fringe Cabaret space in Northern Liberties on June
22nd. Even if you don't plan to enter the contest, we hope to see you
there in June!

Yours truly,

Ray Murphy
PAS Director

PS- There is an important Democratic primary election next Tuesday, May
16th. Polls open at 7 AM and close at 8 PM. The primary is a chance to
select the Democrat who will run against Santorum in the fall.

Also to be decided in the primary is the Democrat who will run for
Lieutenant Governor with Governor Rendell as well as some hot state
house race contests- especially if you live in or near Center City.

We've prepared a voter's guide to all contested Democratic primary races
in the city which you can use to decide who to vote for next Tuesday:

Happy voting!
