Well not sure how much you like to experiment but there are many free or less expensive ways to do that using Asterisk and an analog adapter like the Linksys/Sipura spa-3000 or 3102. A lot more work but if you find playing with Linux fun then you might like it. Typical rates are .01/min US and not much more to many countries plus free voip to voip. I hate being tied to a single comapny. With Asterisk you can decide where, when and how the calls are routed. A rather steep learning curve but not that bad. The Linksys interface is VERY configurable via web. It has a fall-back mode that will connect the PSTN to your local analog phones should the network or power fail. Cost about $85.
