Re: [PLUG] linux compatible MP3 players?

I've got the iPod nano and I use it quite happily with Banshee for transferring files to and from it.  My only complaint would be no drag and drop playlist support, but I'm pretty sure the Banshee team is working on it.  Its really been the only music application that I've found good enough for an iPod on Linux.  However, I haven't really tried any other players in a while so they may be just as good.

I'm considering getting an MP3 player. Is the iPod Linux compatible at all? Is there another MP3 player that is Linux compatible? I guess by compatible, I mean that I can create playlists and upload them and songs to it. I suspect I'm the only one who doesn't have one of these yet - so I hope others here can tell me about their experiences.

Thanks
